Privacy Policy

KGS BDOC ("BDOC," "we," "us") is a geospatial intelligence platform operated by Kitsune Global Solutions LLC. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

• Account information — email address and an encrypted password hash, provided when you create an account.
• Billing information — handled entirely by Stripe, Inc. We store only a Stripe customer ID and subscription tier; we do not see or store card numbers.
• Usage telemetry — aggregate analytics (pageviews, referrer, approximate region) via Plausible Analytics. Plausible does not use cookies or collect personal data.
• Application logs — short-lived server logs from our Netlify Functions (IP address, timestamp, endpoint). Retained up to 30 days for abuse prevention and then discarded.
• User-submitted intel — if you submit a community report, the content and the coordinates you attach are stored in our database and visible to other users.

2. How we use it

We use this information to provide the service, process payments, prevent abuse, and communicate with you about your account. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Third parties

BDOC proxies data from third-party feeds (NASA FIRMS, USGS, OpenSky, NOAA, Supabase, Stripe, and others). These providers may log the request as part of their own infrastructure; we do not share your account information with them beyond what is necessary to process your request.

4. Data retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. On deletion, your account record is purged within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

5. Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your account data at any time by emailing support@kitsuneglobalsolutions.com. California (CCPA) and EU (GDPR) residents have additional rights; contact us to exercise them.

6. Security

Authentication is handled by Supabase with row-level security enforced on all user tables. Payment data is handled by Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1). API keys to third-party feeds are stored server-side only.

7. Children

BDOC is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We will post any material changes to this policy on this page and update the "last updated" date above. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.
